Stratford-on-Avon MP, Nadhim Zahwani and Leamington MP Chris White today hosted an afternoon tea at Westminster Palace. Focussing on local businesses, the event was a reference to Squaredot’s involvement with Stratford-Upon-Avon District Council’s forward looking vision to energise the local market and provide a platform for business incubation and innovation through a new business centre.
The District Council is working closely with existing business centres, business support services and agencies across the district to maximise on the opportunities available for business to develop, grow and eventually move on. The new business centre will be open for business in early 2016 and has been delivered jointly with Tandem Projects, Midlands based Project Managers.
Venture House has been designed to become a dynamic Enterprise Hub in the heart of Stratford-on-Avon, cultivating and facilitating new business development. We’re currently in the final phase in the development of the centre which will transform the current building into a centre for growth, innovation, training, conferencing and meeting. The state-of-the-art facility will also help existing micro businesses making the transition from home based business to commercial premises.
Squaredot feel that it is fantastic to be working with a council that has allowed a visionary design be developed that will attract and allow local developing business to have a place that is different and that they can make their own. This is not another box office for rent – it will be a place with life and encourage innovation. More information on the new environment will be issued in January 2016.
Squaredot made a short video presentation about Venture House for the event.
