Squaredot is proud to announce that Joseph Huddleston will once again be lending his expertise as a judge for the BCO NextGen Awards.
The BCO NextGen is a dedicated membership programme offered by the British Council for Offices (BCO) in order to support younger generations as they enter the office sector. Through a number of initiatives such as mentoring, networking, access to BCO research, training programmes and exclusive opportunities, NextGen aims to inspire and support members in the early stages of their careers.
The NextGen Awards, held annually in November, recognise the exceptional achievements of young professionals in the office sector. Categories include Regional Rising Stars, Graduate of the Year, Impact Award, Inspirational Leader of the Year, and NextGen Employer of the Year.
This year, Joseph will be judging the NextGen Rising Star Northern England, North Wales and Northern Ireland category. His experience previously chairing the BCO Midlands NextGen committee and his current leadership of the regional NextGen mentorship program positions him perfectly to assess these rising stars, as well as his work with the BCO Midlands Main Committee over the past 4 years.
Joseph says of the NextGen awards "I'm delighted to have been invited to take part in the judging again this year, having been closely involved with the BCO NextGen Midlands Committee and currently looking after the NextGen mentorship programme regionally as part of the BCO Midlands Committee. At Squaredot we are committed to supporting and encouraging younger generations, joining the exciting world of Architecture & Design therefore it's inspiring to see the quality of candidates each year and also a privilege to support and promote the talented and driven younger generations, already positively contributing to the built environments at a relatively young age. It certainly makes you feel a little old though!"
Squaredot strongly believes in fostering the future of the industry and supporting initiatives such as NextGen whenever possible. By encouraging and mentoring the next generation of designers we can ensure a vibrant and innovative future for our built environment.
